The Fukuhara-Kogyo Group, in cooperation with the prominent Sun Hung Kai Financial group of Hong Kong, are jointly sponsoring an ocean racing team called “Scallywag”. The team has participated in two world-renowned yacht races, one being the Volvo Ocean Race and the other the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race. Both of the races were incredibly challenging experiences, though our relentless spirit to charge forward and competitive mindset will continue to drive growth and push us to victory. Pushing forward to fulfill our goals, facing challenges with a positive mindset, and supporting the growth of each and every employee throughout this process is our company mission. The Fukuhara-Kogyo Group will continue to support those facing challenges and moving towards their goals.
2019年で27回目を迎えるチャイナコースト・レガッタ。ホンコンや近隣諸国のレーサーが多く集めるこのレースは、ロイヤルホンコン・ヨットクラブのミドルアイランドクラブハウスを拠点に、3日間にわたり繰り広げられます。レース期間中は、毎晩ロイヤルホンコン・ヨットクラブでパーティーが催されます。レースコースもよく考えられており、最高のセーリングコンディションを期待できます。日本艇にもぜひおすすめしたいイベントです。
The China Coast Regatta, held a total of 27 times including this year’s race in 2019. The race attracts many racers from Hong Kong and other neighboring countries. It starts at the Middle Island Club House of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and and takes place over three days. During the race, a party is held at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club every night. The racing course is very well thought out in a way that allows for teams to experience the best possible conditions. We fully recommend Japanese yachts to compete in this event.

The Volvo Ocean Race is a round-the-world race organized by Volvo. The Volvo Ocean Race of 2017-2018 was recorded as the longest yacht race ever held in history from port to port. Sailing the Antarctic Ocean was one of the most difficult challenges the team has ever faced. Top tier sailors compete amongst each other on the longest course with the latest in yacht racing technology at some of the fastest sailing speeds ever recorded. Innovation and teamwork are pushed to the maximum in this race around the world.

1945年以来毎年開催されている由緒あるクラシック・ヨットレースは、世界中から集まったチームが、シドニー湾を出発し、628海里先にあるホバートのダーウェント・リバーのゴールを目指します。
The Rolex Sydney Hobart Race hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia boasts magnificent ocean scenery, right from the start at the spectacular Sydney Harbor. It is a classic race with a lot of history, which has been held every year since 1945. Teams gathered from around the world depart from Sydney Harbor and sail on to River Derwent in Hobart.
